Covid travel insurance - do you trust them?

Just reading through the policies for travel insurance with covid cover for I holiday I want to book. All makes sense, but wanted to get a general consensus on whether people trust insurance companies to do good on their end to pay out regarding covid-19 related issues?
Reading the MSE guide here, I'm not too comforted by the comments at the bottom of the article but they were a while back and obviously things have since rapidly changed.
Question: Are you getting travel insurance if you're booking a trip abroad? And what do you of the 'enhanced covid' policies?

You need to check that the cover meets your needs.
There is no such thing as 'covid travel insurance ' - it's all about the cover and exclusions in each policy.0 -

Yeah I realise this! I just remember my claim when I broke my phone on a trip which had enhanced 'gadget cover' was horrible, so not so sure if insurers have got better here and are taking covid-19 more seriously in the event a claim needs to be made. I'd take a stab and say yes to that, but would be great if other people are are considering travel insurance - if they're going on a trip. I assume it's a pretty standard thing to get, but getting lots of friends saying that they aren't taking anything out as they'll be covered by their credit card, but I'm not so sure. Bit of a hot topic.
