    Id be cancelling the policies asap, your just throwing money away, you coild put the money into a savings acount and use that when an appliance needs to be replaced.

    Self funding and putting it in a savings account is far cheaper IMO. 

    Keep an eye on finances OP, or you will pay for it dearly.

    I recently found an unrecognized 11 pound amazon charge on my credit card and they refunded it and sent me a new card, Imagine if I hadn't picked this up for years, you wouldn't pick this up routinely and think it was your regular spending. 

    I always check my accounts a few times a week and keep a spreadsheet of transactions as well.
