Center Parcs - France... what to do?

Sorry this has probably been asked 1000 times. We have a trip booked to CP in France. End of May. Ideally we’d like a refund but have been offered a voucher which we don’t really want.
Any advice on how to go about it? Paid on a CC if that helps.

Do we need them to default on the agreement? I.E say the parc is closed first?

Yes, if they cancel then you should be able to secure a refund (subject to the Ts & Cs of the booking), but if you cancel then you're unlikely to have any such rights.
If the park is open but you can't get to it then that becomes more complex (unless booked as a package) and probably turns into a travel insurance claim....1 -

Pretty much as suspected then. Take the voucher or sit and hope they cancel it themselves to get a refund.
