I had a letter from HMRC saying I was overpaid tax credits in 2017.

It mentions various ways to pay.

Is there a standard period they allow you to pay over as a direct debit?

Is it negotiable?

You can ring to arrange to make regular payments but not sure if there will be a timescale to pay it back but i suspect not.
