rules of intestacy

My father died in 2014 and was married and passed without leaving a will therefore everything automatically transferred to his wife as my father remarried.

My dad owned some land in Barbados which under the Barbados rules of intestacy I would be entitled to part of. However, my dads wife is refusing to do anything with it to enable me to get my part of this land. Because she was the administer she’s not done anything about it. What would the best way forward be as she’s not managed his estate correctly.

Any advice would be appreciated 👍

I think you need to search for a solicitor specialising in contentious probate. It sounds too difficult a situation to handle yourself.

Was the amount of his estate under the amount to allow everything to go to his wife?
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
