New Lambo owner here (Gallorado) just curious whether you use it as a daily driver or keep it under lock and keep. Due for delivery in a couple of months.

But I'm not honestly sure if I'm ready for all the attention! I'm also worried about scratches or getting keyed simple because it's a nice vehicle. Is there anything much other than driving it on track?.

Is even taking it to Lidl or the usual shops just asking for trouble or what. I feel really stupid for not thinking this through.

Bit of an impulse purchase due to winnings.
Whats the delay in getting it?
Especially as they stopped making them years ago  :D

Best everyday runner I saw was a Bugatti Veyron parked up in the work carpark -- not off in the clear at the far end, just in among the scrum.  Serious funds required to risk that...

Yes they stopped making "Gallorados" around 2013 IIRC, so was curious as to what the delay was in taking delivery.

Perhaps it is being converted from an old MR2.

A chap at work borrowed a Huracan for a couple of days, and brought it into work to show off.

As mentioned above, he found it totally impractical as it was too low to get over speed bumps and certain slopes, and he had to totally rethink his route to work.

Also the stress of having it sitting outside his house where people may intentionally scratch it, etc.

I think he was relieved to hand it back to the owner as he spent the whole time just worrying about it.

We've not had to invoke the good old custard test for a while, maybe this is the time.

I saw a couple of ‘Ferrari’s’ that were based on MR2s at a car show. One of the saddest things I have ever seen. They even had big brake discs and callipers painted on a panel behind the wheels :D
