Calling all musicians!! Especially drummers

If buying a second bass drum, it has to be the same model and size as the main one.
Otherwise it becomes almost impossible to get the same tone whilst tuning. In other words you'll end up with the same effect as hitting 2 different sized pans.
If buying another bass drum, he'll need another single pedal, which again should really match his primary pedal, it's not absolutely important to be the same but it helps with continuity.
You'll have to find out what drum kit he has and then do a quick sweep on ebay and if that fails try phoning.
Adc drums Liverpool
Birmingham drum centre
The double pedal approach is the most sensible and practical option, but if he's in a proper heavy metal band, nothing buy 2 bass drums will do. (it looks great!)

My sons a drummer, and he always asks for drum stuff for Christmas. To be honest, i feel its so specific, and the stuff isnt cheap, so i always include my son in the purchase decision. There are some great drum shops around, drum stop in chesterfield esp, but the best place we've found price wise for pucker stuff is a music shop on ebay called ma simpsons, they beat drum shops prices hands down for the same stuff.

Not been able to post any updates here as we've had a power cut and only just had power here since 12:20 today so apologize to everyone who has posted.
My brother who has been trying to obtain the drum has informed me that my brother whom we are trying to purchase this for has informed him that he actually wants a drum peddle and not a drum.
My brother who wants the peddle lives in Exeter so I'm thinking it might be better to have it sent there. My other brother who is trying to purchase it lives in Royston but personally I think the latter would be a more sensible option. This would cut down on the cost and also the delivery will be more than likely quite expensive if it's purchased further a field.
I suppose it shouldn't really matter where it is delivered now as it is not a drum he wants. Although saying that it would obviously be better if it where delivered to my brother who want this.
Well I hope this is a little more helpful knowing now where my brother lives so if any of you know of any places near to where he lives please do post here and if you can please post a link to the company you are posting if you can.
Once again thanks for your help.0 -
Is it still a double peddle he is after?I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0

Yes it’s still a double peddle he's after.
He hasn’t really decided what he wants to be honest although he did mention something about a Stagg pp1200. I've been informed that it's now maybe possible that we want be buying this and may be going for something else after all. Both my brothers have said they are not really sure where they will buy one so hopefully all the information you have all supplied want be in vain. So all the same after all this trouble I'd still be grateful if you could post possible places where to purchase these if that's not to inconvenient.
I see there are quite a few on eBay and will inform my brother who was going to do the purchasing and wait and see from there.
I'll keep you posted.0 -

Is this the Rockem Music you're talking about? That's near Sheffield isn't it? Maybe a bit far from Exeter although he could drive there I'm sure if he needed to.
