Internal doors

Hi, we are going to replace our upstairs internal doors. The minor issue is when measuring the current doors they appear slightly smaller than the standard sizes.
The closest standard is 198x76cm
The current doors (in cm) measure at:
The current doors (in cm) measure at:
194.5 x 75.8
194.7 x 75.3
195.85 x 74.9
196 x 75.3
Measuring the width and height to the door frame it’s very close to the standard, this doesn’t account for carpets, door hinges etc though.
Does anyone have experience with this. Should we just buy the standard doors and try to trim them if it’s needed? I read that only so much ( ~3-10mm) can be trimmed, depending on the doors.
Thanks for any advice. Never had to think about doors before, I just assumed we could buy and attach, maybe we can. I just don’t want to commit to so much money and then none of them fit.

Door frames do vary slightly and you will have to trim the doors to fit - or get somebody to do it for you. All doors have some tolerance for trimming but you should check the max which can be trimmed off any door you plan to purchase.

you need standard size doors, 2ft6 x 6ft 6 or 1981 x 762mm.
the joiner/carpenter you hire will plane them to fit perfectly into your door casings1 -
I have a similar question - 2 door openings that I would like French / external sliders for - but with an odd shape and my wish to have glass to maximise light am likely to have to go down the made-to-measure route to give the effect on the image below. The 2 door measurements are 2540mm w x 2130h, and 1850mm w x 2100mm h.
Which is going to be the more cost-effective option, buying standard doors and asking a carpenter to work some magic or going bespoke? No man is worth crawling on this earth.
