Hello everyone
Just been reading back over the last couple of days.
I had little one to stay last night - we've been down to my mam and dads this morning and she is now fast asleep in her pushchair and has been for the last hour. Her mummy had a hospital appointment this morning and is on her way home - she'll text me when she's 10 minutes away so I can get little one sorted and nappy changed.
Then I'm planning to sit outside and read for a bit and will have a potter about tidying too.
Eldest DD in Germany got the keys for her new apartment on Thursday and also all her furniture delivered from Ikea, so she's had a busy time putting it all together. So far she's built a bed, bookcase, desk and 2 chests of drawers - oh and a sofa though that was quite simple. Her boxes were delivered from storage on Friday so she now has lots of clothes to wear! She will stay in the hotel for the last time tonight and then will be moved in properly. The kitchen isn't getting fitted until Thursday but there's a nice canteen at work so she'll manage. Its a very exciting time for her - the first time she's had an apartment with separate rooms, rather than a studio with a bed up a ladder.
Gers - it's a pity you're not closer to Beamish museum - I'm sure they would have been happy to take some of your mum's things. I expect you've been there - it's my favourite museum and expands all the time. I think it's probably about 5 or 6 years since I last went. No doubt I'll take little one when she's older. It's lovely that you have so many letters to read through.
Well I'm going to move or I'll do nothing
Hope eveyone has a good day, with sunshine
