Are you wanting to complain about 'false advertising'?
ASA look after advertising complaints. Easy to file online. This won't have any impact on any complaint you think you may have apropos sorting said issue out.
Do you want help with a consumer rights issue?0 -
The labels just state Silent Night memory 800. When I contacted Silent night they said they make various versions of this mattress its Argos that give them names for the different ones. For example the one I ordered from Argos was called the Middleton but that's not a name Silent night uses.Lip_Stick said:Does the labeling on the mattress differ in any way to the specs Argos have put?0 -
Both I think. I want the issue sorted out with Argos but also don't want them to continue advertising in this way to other customers.theonlywayisup said:Are you wanting to complain about 'false advertising'?

Focus on this. Argos have told you explicitly that the model supplied is that pictured on their website. It isn't.XGinX said:I also have a reply on the question and answer section of their website stating the mattress that will be recieved is the same as the picture which it isn't.0 -
Silent Night call it the Memory 800, Argos call it the Middleton 800 Memory, quite a few retailers do something like this but it is not misleading advertising. Just to confuse things Silent Night are revamping their range so that model will cease to exist at some point reasonably soon.XGinX said:

XGinX said:Sorry for not making it clear. I've purchased 3 of these mattresses previously one in 2015 for my bed, one for my son in 2018 and most recently 2020 for my daughters bed.
If it has only lasted 6 years before needing replacement it must have been a low quality mattress to begin with so I'm surprised you wanted another one the same.0 -
Mattress need replacing every 6 to 8 years . Depending upon construction rotation and use and weight of bed mites .
