Saving £1 million in short term

We have recently sold our property and have moved into rental accommodation while we hunt for our new home. Does anyone know where we might save this in a short term easy access savings account (hopefully) until we need it to pay for a new property

You are not going to get great rates, so just pick an account that has the FSCS protection (you will be protected upto £1million for upto 6 months).
If you have slightly more than 1 mill then split it across two separate institutions (with separate FSCS licences)0
