Is the £5 dealing charge taken out of the order or is an extra £5 needed in the account over and above the order value.
eg if i ordered £10000 of a fund would i need £10005 in iweb to take in to account the dealing charge?
TIA

Depends on if you select a value or units to purchase in.
If value, it's taken out of the order (ie, you set £10,000 purchase, you can't pay more than £10,000, so trading fees and stamp duty are factored in)
If units, it's taken after the order (ie, you set 100 unit purchase, you pay the price for 100 units, plus trading fees and stamp duty after the price of those units are calculated)1 -
It will be value and buying Vanguard LS 60% acc fund, so I assume I just enter £10005 if i want £10000 of the fund.0

I've not bought a VLS through iWeb so there may be some additional fund charges you need to consider. If you have an iWeb account, why not pop in £10k purchase bid, which will show you the fees due, but don't commit with the purchase (unless you want to).1 -
Thanks, I did not know that would show before committing.MaxiRobriguez said:Yellowvest23 said:It will be value and buying Vanguard LS 60% acc fund, so I assume I just enter £10005 if i want £10000 of the fund.
