Why so many cancellations?

At my local airport, there seems to be many Ryanair flights, in contrast to the other budget airlines.
But there also seems to be a large number of cancellations.
Is this because they have published their normal schedule, and then cancel if they don't get enough passengers?
In the near future, is there a big chance that your Ryanair booking will be cancelled?

Without any context about what airport you are referring to, what you mean by large numbers of cancellations I suppose all anyone will be able to reply is there may be a big chance your Ryanair flight will be cancelled. All Airlines have schedules. Given the global pandemic and dynamic situation in each country regarding departues and arrivals most airlines will have cancellations.
