Gate latch options

Hey,
Does anyone know of any gate latch that’s in some sort of slider that can be opened from both sides? (the only thing i can think of at the minute)
Originally my tall gate was on a standard ‘turn’ gate latch which was fine, after having a new fence put up the post the catch side was on is now covered so there’s no clearance to put any catch that it closes up to.
I currently have a normal bolt on the inside but because of the height of the gate along with it being on a higher level at one side it’s not reachable (and also not ideal to just be able to walk through if it was).
I’m not sure what i’m actually looking for and hoping someone else has an idea!
Thanks

Would a lock like this work? You'd need to use a key to open the gate on either side though.

Can you put the two parts of the latch on top of the gate and adjoining post if they're the same height?
Otherwise yes one of those double locks, there's options for it to be a thumb turn on one side too.
If you search double sided gate bolts you can find things like the below. You would need to cut a slot in your gate to allow for the slider on both sides.
