Morning all
Bright and sunny here but still cold, dog walking will be at the park today as dd gone to work. Wm is on with a load and that can go on the line once done.
Not sure about dinner tonight but I think there is some scampi in the freezer so might do that with chips and peas, dd will have some veggi nuggets with hers.
Had my blood tests yesterdat got to phone Monday for the results, Csarina I used to suffer really badly with neck problems but I suspect its the tamoxifen that I am taking causing the headaches, I have stopped it since last Saturday and they have almost stopped just the odd one now but they can take two weeks to go out of your system, I am picking up a prescription tomorrow for a new brand so will see how I get on with them.
DW needs emtying and I shall have a quick tidy round, then the day is mine - nothing to do but I am sure I will keep busy.
Rosy that must have been quite a shock I hope the poor lady is ok xx
Nels Hope you are ok and your hands are not giving you too much trouble xxx
Thinking of Marie as always xx
Have good days all xx14 -
Morning all, the sun is shining but it's still rather cold, brrrr.Yesterday we decided to take the car for a run and ended up at the local reservoir, the non-commercial end where there were very few people about. We had a lovely walk in the sun and we shall go there again but prepared next time as the ground was rather muddy and I only wore my leather boots. We'll take our packs too so we can make a cuppa and also wear the old walking boots, doesn't matter about getting any mud on those.Today I have stripped the bed and put the bedding in the wm, I shall hang the bedding out in a moment. There is also a load of towels ready to go in and I'll throw in the toilet and bath mat too. I shall clean the bedroom and bathroom, then re-make the bed.Later I need to defrost the fridge freezer as it seems someone didn't shut the door properly and it's all iced up grrr....... and it wasn't me, not guilty your honour ! I need to sort it out anyway as I have a sm delivery coming tomorrow and as usual I've forgotten what's in there, don't want to shove more stuff on top and perhaps bury some forgotten gems
I may even find something for tea today but my lunches will be back to the salad bowl, I feel I've been eating anything and everything for a couple of weeks and that has to stop or I'll be putting all the weight back on 😞
Hope everyone has a goodish dayTake care, stay safe and wellnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently15 -

Hi all- lovely day today and warmer than recently. I had another jaunt this morning on the bus, to Hobby craft. Sadly they didn't have all I wanted for my cardmaking but mooching passed an hour on, went in Dun elm next door but the queues were quite long so I didnt buy anything.DS1 picked me up.It would appear the injured lady just fell in the road on Tuesday in front of the wagon which apparently was stopped waiting in the traffic light queue, The local rag hasn't put any further details of how she's doing , but hopefully ok.We have booked a couple of nights away in a hotel we like in the Lakes, not until early June, they were booked up at weekends till th then. If all was normal, we would have been at my niece's wedding in Greece then.DH has managed to get a few flags down in the back.He should have left it till weekend as he was tired after work and they are really heavy.I need to peel the spuds for the cottage pie. I made the mince yesterday but we had a change of plan ,DS2 didnt stay as the children are coming today instead I think, so we had something else. The kitchen floor could do with a mop but it seems pointless if DH is coming in and out of the back garden later.Glad DB is home and ok Csarina.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
