crest shares transfers

Hi I'm sorting through my paper shares and gradually getting them transferred to X-O so that they're easier to sell.
I have some Standard Life paper shares that are due to pay a dividend fairly soon.
If I do a crest transfer now, to my X-O account, will the dividend still find its way to my bank account or do I have to inform 'some one' of my bank details?
Also if they are transferred on ex dividend date will I miss out on the dividend?

If the shares have gone ex dividend then you'll automatically receive the payment on your holding.1

They haven't gone ex dividend yet maybe I need to wait until after that date.

Thanks I knew it was fairly soon.wmb194 said:SLA is ex-dividend tomorrow, Thursday 15th.
I'll pop the certificate in the post on Monday then.
I guess my bank details will still work to get the dividend payment?

Yup, the registrar will pay holders who are on the register on Friday in the way they've asked.sparkiemalarkie said:
