    I see nothing at all here that would tempt me to move from our existing Nationwide account.

    And a sad statement of where the market is if they can sell a 0.5% saver as a feature of a reasonably expensive packaged account...

    Again - it depends. If you are 70 or have laptops and ipads and cameras then the Virgin account is better - it could cost you £5 a month just to separately insure a laptop against damage, theft and loss. Yes you can claim on your house insurance - but you lose your no claims bonus.
