I love the Scottish beaches. Quiet and full of interesting rocks and things.
That’s true…often surfers, seals, seabirds and the occasional English lady wrapped up like an Eskimo carefully avoiding the washed up seal carcass 🤣 They are mostly empty, wild and very beautiful….such big expanses of sea and sky ❤️
That sounds idyllic, apart from the carcass. We get seals here too. Very lucky that here on Planet Thanet, we have a good mix of beaches and kiss me quick hat seasides. We are after all the preferred destination of Del Boy and Rodney Trotter.

When we go to Australia to visit family I love their beaches there, so unspoilt

I wonder if many living in the middle of Australia actually get to see the sea….such a very long way across isn’t it.

ours are about 5-6 hours drive. Not too many living in the middle there. I love the big waves along the Atlantic coast, we were lucky enough to go to Nazare in Portugal which was fantastic

Rock and pebble beaches are my favourite..I don't do sand 🥴
I survived hobby craft and the range. Just came out with the baby blanket wool and the art stuff for Mr M_F.
I need to venture out tomorrow for compost for my potato buckets. I'm saving the compost heap stuff for the raised beds. I did see some today but it was full of extra feed. In other words chemicals. No thank you not for my potatoes.

moving_forward - I also survived the land of hobbies by not going in at all!!! I was parked right outside on the retail park and was sorely tempted to go in for a look but didn't trust myself not to buy anything :)

Thank you WW I had something I needed to buy so had the thrill of purchase without the guilt of it being unnecessary.

Ooh well done nanny. It is easier to restrain oneself when browsing there as it's so blooming expensive! I do believe you have hit the proverbial nail on the head though with the do not go anywhere for "just a look" as it usually ends in impulse spends! We learnt alot during lockdown that shopping as a hobby is not a good idea. I do think it was that that kicked off our "lightbulb moment"

What a beauty! MrM and I had two lop eared rabbits before kids and dogs arrived. Such sweet things. I hope he/she is reunited with an owner.💙
