Spam Purportedly From Abbey

I have just received an e-mail which looks very official but is in fact Spam which has purportedly come from Abbey. I have confirmed this with Abbey
Please be extra careful if any of you bank online with Abbey

    Abbey / Nat west / A&L / Halifax ... et al! My Inbox / deleted items are sick of them. I've stopped sending them to 'abuse@ ..' as I could spend the entire day doing it.
