Factory reset recovery

Hi
I did a factory reset on my phone last week Samsung A300 but I need to recover the photos which were not backed up. I Have tried using dumpster app but nothing came back with that? Is it any good?
I have downloaded recovery tool on my PC but it says I need to root my phone to connect it? I tried kingoroot apk on my phone but can't seem to download it
Any help please I have hardly used my phone last few days so they should not have been overwritten

If you'd turned on Google Backup the photos should be in your online Google account.

Probably over written by the restore .You could try RecovaOr look at XDA Forums your model usually loads of i failed to backup posts .1
