PRAISE: Tesco returns

Bought a TV in store from Tesco march last year.
Over the year had issues with the TV not responding to the remote, doing something different to what was pressed, randomly turning off or freezing. It was happening intermittently and I hadn't been particularly pushy about a replacement/refund because we just turned it off and on again when it went wrong and then forgot about it until it happened again.
I spoke to them on odd occasions to try and get it resolved but the issues would just continue in time.
The last time I spoke with them they said they would replace the TV, this was just 2 days shy of its warranty expiration.
Took it back to Tesco, full refund was provided and a £5 voucher by the till staff as it took them longer than normal to process the refund through the till.

Done well there.
What brand was the TV ?
Go for a better brand, Samsung, LG, Sony or even Hisense.0 -
I think that issue with newer (2020) models of LG TVs has been resolved now.
Come on you Irons1 -
It was a digi home. We have Samsung now. It's a million times better!!0
