Booking Reference number vaccine appointment

Hi,
Today I booked my vaccine appointment and sadly I didn’t get a booking reference number like my wife did.
Now when I log in after putting my nhs number and date of birth I am stuck at the booking reference number which I don’t have.
Sadly haven’t received any email, sms and I am totally stuck.
Have tried calling 119 but this is just a machine.
Any insights on what ven be done?
Thanks,
Andy

Is this something ringing your surgery would be able to help with ?
Do you need the booking ref though ?
If you know what time its for then just go along at the time.
I wasnt asked for mine, I was just asked for name and DoB.0 -

I booked my jab this morning too, I took a screenshot of my booking reference but am slightly concerned the booking might not have gone through as I haven't had an email or text either.0 -

If you definitely have a booking but don’t know your booking reference, we can find your appointment (at the centre) by your surname and post code or date of birth. Don’t worry too much about your exact appointment time, most centres see people in order of arrival.
if your booking isn’t confirmed the appointment won’t have been made. Easiest is to try and make an appointment online, if you already have one the system won’t let you book another. If you have already made the appointment the system should tell you.
if you are definitely eligible to book now and appeared with your wife but without an appointment, there is a very good chance that you will be allowed your vaccine as a walk-in.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. When both myself and my daughter had our vaccine, i wasn't asked for any booking ref number. All i was asked for was my name and then had to confirm my address.

Same here, no booking reference required but vaccinations done in order of appointment time, I arrived 15 minutes early and had to wait outside until exact time (which I did not mind)0

First thing I was asked on arrival was my booking reference.0

We ask for the booking reference as it's an easy way to confirm your booking - but as Silvercar mentioned it's not a deal breaker because we know there are system glitches and also people that genuinely think they have confirmed when they actually haven't!
I know that it can vary a bit by centre, and some are stricter than others, but the one I work at, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria (age, health, occupation etc), you will be vaccinated even if not on our daily list.0 -
hubby got a text with a link to book on Monday and followed it to book for yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately due to high demand there were system issues and although he followed the link and got all the way to the end his name was not on the list when he arrived for his vaccine. Not a problem (they were aware of the issues - he was not the only one), they checked his eligibility and took his details and registered him there and then. Took about 5 mins to sort out before joining the queue to get his jab.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"1

Don’t forget to take your vaccination card from your first jab, as I did!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
