Maldives Deal-Good value in Feb 2022-Pitfalls?

So, this looks too good to be true and goes against all my many years of independent travel
BUT
It would tick off the “Maldives”
Would it bee good value for say Feb 2022?
Comments pitfalls welcome!

Think I'll stick to my usual independent booking and travelling.

Plane transfer is normally an upgrade from the standard boat transfer to the island . But it's not clear

Sea plane transfers are an extra £635 in total.

Only other option seems to be a Domestic flight + speed boat at a slightly less price.

I believe I can DIY cheaper even though this is AI for a week.

To be honest , many times the boat transfer is quicker as you can spend ages waiting around for your sea plane in the main island .

I've been sitting in the bar having a beer and seen people off my plane arriving by plane an hour after the boat

In a pandemic, I would hesitate before choosing a flight with a transfer. The risks of isolation on return, extra testing requirements etc would put me off. Hopefully the pandemic will be over by 2022.

at the moment Qatar require passengers to where a mask and visor, the only airline to do so.

It does look too good to be true. A 5star resort with AI and transfers by plane in peak season. I couldn't come up with anything but didn't try that hard. You'll be booking yourself anyway as they only give you the links I believe.

And if you just want to tick off a destination it would do.

My reason for going was the no news, no shoes and the amazing snorkeling rather than a design hotel on a beach

The Cocoon  is not entirely All Inclusive, its partially inclusive as many things fall outside of the package . The prices of other activities are very high and it's not as good as some of the other resorts. Watervilla which I'd love, with that many it would be noisy with people traipsing past.

But still, at that price if you can get it.............

The seaplane transfers are not free when I would be going.
