Google add birthday

Or put any date - how would they know if it was or wasn't your birthday - you could be18 again ! ( or 21 or 39 or 59 )0

Be careful though, Google can and do delete accounts in full.
I got an email asking to confirm my age last year. Said 'Google needs to make sure that you’re old enough to use a Google Account without a parent’s supervision. If you don’t confirm your age within 12 days, your account won’t work anymore.'
Quick bit of research online it confirmed it was genuine and that many people had their entire account deleted including all emails ect as you need to be 13 to own a Gmail account.
Stupid thing is, the account itself is 15+ years old, it was opened back in the BETA days where you could only get a Gmail account by invite. Has had numerous phones assigned to it since, has many cards setup under Google Pay and the play store. To verify I had to enter my card details, the very same card details they already hold...

I have had the same pop up pestering me too just lately. I've started using YouTube kids for the sprog. Presume that it may be connected.
