Morning, hugs if you need one, and thank you for the messages yesterday. I am used to him throwing me a wobbly ball, the firm concerned have had their contract cancelled.......
I am back in nurse mode for a couple of days, I collected DB just before 5 yesterday afternoon, he managed to flake out again in the morning. He had a snack and was in bed by 7.30. woke briefly when I took in tea and got ready for bed myself. I was awake at 5am yesterday so pretty tired myself. Light out before 10.15 and he slept through to 8.15, so he should be all slept up, we will see.
Washing in, its a fine morning so it will go out on the line. DB will have a look at his plants in the shed, walk up the garden and then back inside.
We will have sundays supper tonight.10 -
Morning all
Bright and suny here but still cold no snow showers due today either.
Will get the dogs out for a good walk today my head was so bad yesterday that we just went to the park, hopefully the blood test will show something tomorrow.
Dinner tonight will be jacket spuds with cheese / ham salad so no effort there, dw needs empying and the breakfast things putting in.
Have good days all xxx12 -
Morning all, it's brighter today and that cutting wind has died down, it's still blummin cold though. The WM is on and I'll chance putting it out on the whirly later (the washing not the machine
), the DW needs putting on too.
No baking planned for today, I've probably had enough of that for the rest of the month ( year )The kitchen floor now awaits my attention today, I'm such a mucky baker, think lots of little bits of the pastry has ended up there, didn't notice till late last night !
SiL has his 1st jab today and DD has hers on Saturday, they must be moving on a pace as she's only 37, or perhaps it's because they are teachers ? Meanwhile we are still waiting for our 2nd one. We've had fewer than 35 cases in the borough over the last week, but I'm sure it might change as "down" town had a queue of over 200m of people waiting to get into Primani yesterdayTea tonight will be hot pulled pork rolls with a side salad and the last of the treacle tart with ice cream for pudding.taff very MSE making leftovers from leftovers ! Wonder how many times someone could make leftovers from one meal ? Answers on a postcard please.Take care and stay safe all, I'm still struggling with this new form of MSE spacing and have to edit it all the time.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12 -
RedRuby, is it possible that you have a problem with your neck? My husband went through months of violet headaches, he had all sorts of tests, then an Xray showed he had spondylosis in his neck........he has to be careful he does not put his head back too far, it can trigger his headaches.10

Good afternoon everyone
It's a lovely sunny day here today but the wind is still very cold. We have the windows open to change the air but I will have to find my cardi in a minute.
Lee is cooking up a storm in the kitchen as he needs to practice timings for his exams. He is making us poached chicken breast with a mushroom sauce, glazed vegetables and some fancy potato dish of which i cannot remember the name. I am very much looking forward to trying it.
Bobby finally goes to the groomers tonight as his usual one has retired from the mobile business so we are trying a new lady. My sisters dogs go to her so I know she does a great job. Poor Bobby looks like a wooly sheep at the moment as his coat hasn't been clipped for months. He will look (and smell) a lot better later on
It was my birthday on Sunday and I had the best day possible. I got given some money so I have spent a very enjoyable morning looking at new dies for card making. I am a bit fed up with knitting after making all the Easter toys so I want to make some more cards for my stash.
Right, that's all from me for now. Hope you all have a great afternoon whatever you are doing. Take care xx12 -

Bright and sunny day here at the Kent coast.
We went for a walk to get some books - friend has a library cupboard set up on the wall next to her house. There are usually lots of DVDs to choose from as well. I got a Daisy Styles book - really enjoy her writing.
Not going to attempt a visit to the shops yet - big queues here yesterday at the shopping centre.
People were sitting out on the terrace outside a pub eating a cooked breakfast as soon as it opened - sure in the temperature here - would quickly have gone stone cold.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
