Gladstones UK CPM LBC - Settle/Concede?

Just remember they will claim that the sign forms a contract.
If it is genuinely unreadable then invite the Gladstone’s rep to read it to the court.
If they can’t read it then it would be unreasonable to expect you to.4 -

Well the wording on the photo of the sign is illegible yes, sounds good. Do I spring this one on them in court or make the point in the defence/witness statement? Just to give you some more info this was a sign at the corner of a street, pretty small and quite high up and also not lit up as it was night. The alleged offence is not parking in marked bays and the sign is alleged to say that this is the place where cars must park. The car was actually parked at a place on the street where there was no sign and no marked bays and no markings on the road to indicate that it could not be parked there.2

Do I spring this one on them in court or make the point in the defence/witness statement? You can't 'spring' anything on anyone in the court, everything has to be shared up front between claimant, defendant and the court. However, you could say something like the signs were impossible to read in your defence/WS, but, given the opportunity in court, ask that the legal rep read out the content of the sign. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. We mostly see with Gladstones claims that they are clueless, hence they tend to discontinue for their incompetence.
As said, you cannot just spring something on them on the day, nor can they.
You include everything in your statement
In court you can question and highlight the signs (or no signs) and to help you, you will do a crib sheet to remind you

OK just need to figure out how to upload the images. I will send the 3 photos that CPM provided in response to the SAR and one photo I took during the daytime of where the car was parked0

Hi any thoughts on the photos (assuming you can see them)?0

Those photos do not show any context, no signs, no lines! What were they supposed to show. If the claimant is relying on those, I guess the judge will laugh them out of court.2

The photos aren't time/date stamped. How can they be categorically linked to the alleged parking event? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
