Don't comply with distance selling regs or whatever it's currently called, no address or phone number, only an email address and contact form, not the type of company I would use.
I'm sure someone will be along to say more about the company, how long it's been established and other things.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Looks to be a UK business, but a small one, personal mobile number on facebook page, Canadian domain privacy firm on the whois.

Could this be them? (Company registration date isn't too far away from the domain registration date).

It looks a bit like a one-man band operation - the delivery tab talks about being closed for Christmas - and there's no mention of Covid anywhere. There is a phone number (mobile) on their facebook page:07827 930503
You could try sending a message there as well.1 -
OP, what exactly are you wanting as a resolution?
Does the candle have any instructions on usage or a warning about using it?0 -
I would never leave a candle in a tin burning on glass. When the wax burns down low the metal will get hot. I always out mine on a tabel mat.
I also would not leave it unattended. I thought that was the first rule of candle burning.8 -
Sarcasm is the best response for some people it seems.0

Hot and on fire spewing flames are two very seperate things. But thank you for your attempt at condescending reply.1 -
As I said - it looks like a one-man band operation - someone that's set up in their living room - rather than a big international company.
You could try putting in a report to trading standards - that won't help with your refund/damage problem though, but it might stop more of the product being sold if it is indeed deemed to be dangerous.https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/get-more-help/report-to-trading-standards/
Did you purchase only one candle? Or do you have several?
If you have any remaining unburnt candles - you could get them examined by a professional to work out if they are safe - but that would cost you to do so, but if the independent report stated they were dangerous, then you could potentially take court action - but that's a lot of effort. What's the value of the damage? Is it something you want to claim on your household insurance - or just replace the items?
You could send a letter before action if you were able to trace the suppliers address.0
