Unable to get contents insurance due to non-standard building (thatch roof)

Hi,

We're moving into a rental property with a thatched roof, and i'm unable to get a quote for home contents insurance due to the non-standard construction of the building.  Specifically the specialist insurers i've tried all say they're unable to provide a quote because the top of the chimney stack is less than 1.8m from the top of the thatch (landlord confirms its only about 0.8m)

Landlord (via letting agent) said they were able to get insurance when they lived in the property, I've asked them to confirm which insurer they used, but so far they haven't provided that info

Any suggestions gratefully received

Thanks!
