Cash on collection item - how to mark as payment received

Hi
I have just sold a heavy collection item. As soon as the auction finished I messaged the buyer with my phone number. A brief text conversation followed and he came straight over and paid and collected. A perfect transaction . I then went into my ebay but couldn't find how to mark as payment received or leave feedback. I have sold collection only items before without this problem. Any ideas please?

Here's the guidelines for collected items:

Proof of collection

Proof of collection is required to protect you against item not received cases. 

For proof of collection you can:

• use the eBay app to scan the QR code the buyer received through email
• use the eBay app to manually enter the 6-digit code the buyer received through email
• have the buyer sign a copy of the eBay order form at the time of collection

To scan the QR code:

1. Go to the Arrange Pickup screen on the eBay app.
2. Tap the Scan to confirm collection button.

If the buyer doesn't have the QR code available, ask them for the 6-digit code they received through email and manually enter it in the app.

If you didn't do this before the buyer took the item, you can still just mark the item as collected, but you need to do it on eBay via a browser, not on the app via a phone or tablet.

Thank you for your detailed response. I don't have the eBay app so have only used eBay on a browser. I have now left feedback but cannot see how to mark as collected.

As above, there is a drop down box & one of the options is item collected (I did it on an item picked up from me last week)

These are my drop down options. I have another pick up only item sold but not collected which is giving me an option to mark as collected.

eBay are moving everyone over to their new Seller Hub. You need to switch to this to complete the transaction as many functions in Classic View no longer work.

 Go top right of the page,  click on Switch to Seller Hub.  Find the item in Orders,  click on it,  then Mark as Paid,   and Mark as Dispatched/collected will be found on top left of the page.
