Theme park glamping insurance

Hi there apologies if this has been covered. We're due to go glamping at Chessington in July but I was thinking about getting insurance in case we need to cancel for any reason. Would normal travel insurance cover this? Just a bit unsure, given its in the theme park and all. Does anyone actually insure themselves with theme park tickets generally? Seems like a good idea but I've never thought about it before!
Thanks for any help

I've got travel insurance as part of a packaged bank account and that insurances covers UK trips of at least 2 nights and that includes camping.
So check the terms but I expect many other travel insurance is similar.0 -
I think I may have that with a credit card! Good call, thanks0

You need to check what activities you are covered for. Often that involves ringing up and checking or getting them to direct you to the correct T&C's for your trip.People tend to skip this only to get a nasty surprise when they need to claim.I found that I wasn't covered for 'travelling in a land rover' for my safari trip and 'riding a camel' on my desert trip because they put the lowest price first to attract customers. I was a bit stunned but was then able to get the right one and have been cautious ever since.Just a lucky chance my desire to go sand boarding on dunes when it was offered was cancelled. On holiday enthusiasm takes over from checking the details
