Self-employed goods driver on return to England - quarantine question, please

Hello, I am self-employed, have been for 5+ years now and I transport goods in and mainly out of UK for living. Does anybody know, please, do I qualify for an exepmtion when it comes to quarantine on my return to England (including £210 cost of compulsory tests)? HGV drivers do not have to pay this money.
My job is flexible enough to actually stay in quarantine if needed and I will have CPR test done before entering England.
I am just reluctant to pay £210 if transporting goods is my way of earning living as none of the other 'professional driver' have to pay. I do have an EORI number as well. I use my private large MPV for this job. I haven't received any support from gov as I did 'as-and-when' part time job alongside my self-emplyment = hence I didn't qualify for help as self employed.
Thank you in advance.

It looks as though Drivers of Goods vehicles, whilst exempt from taking a test before travel and rebooking tests are not exempt from the post arrival testing or self-isolation (either in cab or at home)
You should factor in these costs for the job in the quote to the customer2 -
Thank you... If you read the article and follow the links it says 'hauliers' are offered free tests either at haulier advice site or at comunity testing site. Both is fine with me even it means getting tested actually 3x time instead of twice. Quarantine at home is absolutely fine in my case.
For me it is important to know if I qualify through my job for these free tests. I mean, will I be able to argue my case at Calais before boarding the train? Thank you.0 -
Hi Martin, Why don't you ask them at the haulier advice site? Even if anybody said yes on here, it isn't a guarantee. I doubt you will be able to argue any cases at Calais, you would just need to follow instructions.1

A government document from last spring makes mention of Road Transport Operators and for people to contact one of their two associations for the rules that apply across the EU when transporting goods.
You also don't mention what you are transporting, is it stuff that would be classified as essential?IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Thank you all for your input...
I am not 'an haulier' as such and only transport my own goods that are to be sold by my family business in Europe. I do have EORI but at the same time I qualify under £1500 / 1tonne allowance to use simple online declaration / green line at customs as well (Merchandise in Baggage). My goods have zero custom duty anyway (printed materials / books).
The main question here is - as a self-employed driver of my own car transporting my own goods for sale in and out of UK - where do I belong? I am not a proffesional driver, have no HGV or any other licence (will never have, don't need it). Yet transporting goods is my way of earning living and making the journey means I don't have to end up aj Job centre on benefits.
Can I just turn up at a haulier advice site and ask?
Thank you.0
