    Henry purchased.

A lot smaller, lighter and quieter than the one my mother has (which would've been bought somewhere around 2005 maybe at a guess. I'm likely to be way out though. It's pretty old).
First run on it and it seemed to do the job. Not bad for £100. Will have to use a fair few bags before it comes to the price of what a Dyson or whatever would've been.
Numatic have done a bit of a rework to the model range where the standard Henry with a 9L capacity became the Henry 200 or HVR200 and the "new" standard Henry is now the smaller 6L and lighter HVR160, it still has the same size motor and is a bit cheaper.

I don’t see the charm of bagless vacuum cleaners. We have one and it’s very dirty emptying it. We also have a Henry, and emptying it is easy and clean. That’s well worth the cost of the bags.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
