    It's not by choice Savings...given the choice I would go back to a mon-fri 9 to 5 job in a flash.  Still life goes on and retirement gets ever closer so on I plod.

    Didn't do much today, mopped the floors, did the ironing and then walked to the supermarket as the idea of a run anywhere didn't appeal, very tired but maybe tomorrow before yet another nightshift.

    A quiet night in for me so I have a pizza in the airfryer and something fizzy in the fridge, some scandi drama on the tv.  Happy days indeed.

    2) £1.8K Net savings after CCs 13/9/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £26.8K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.2K) = 32.6/£127.5K target 25.6% 13/9/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 54.5K or 42.7%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise)

    Lazy day today - got up about lunchtime and I have mainly vegged with the cat.  Evening plan is more of the same although I was going to order a takeaway but resisted and instead I am having a vegan sausage roll and chips from the freezer.  Night off then two more nights til this nightmare of nights is done...
