Here to report back that the popcorn was not a great success 😂 I shall stick to the big cast iron pot on the stove top.Mortgage End Date: Apr 36/Aiming for Aug 28/Current Aug 35

I rarely do popcorn - but when I do - it's the microwave variety...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality by mid 2030

Gorgeous pics.... You are lucky to live in such a stunning enviromentThere will always be a (beautiful stilettoed) foot in fabulous in LaPlan's life.
I am choosing to be fabulously frugal to support some wonderful life changing and affirming financial goals including buying a London home I love.
DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things. You can’t really hack your way to frugal. You can and should take advantage of discounts, coupons, rewards points, and the like. But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I might try the popcorn in the microwave this evening. I am calorie counting as I want to lose a bit of weight, less than a stone but it needs shifting. App is telling me lots of other things too like sugar intake so hopefully I will make healthier choices, that said I met a friend in the city yesterday for an alumni thing and I ate a brownie then all the burns supper stuff🤦♀️ but it isn’t a regular thing so acceptable I think.I had my first attempt at running yesterday following the virus and I was slow but didn’t cough or wheeze🎉 I was disappointed when my toe came through my running socks but realised they were probably all about fifteen years old so I splashed out and bought some new ones - five pairs arrived today.
Pay was shockingly bad this month as I lost about a week due to illness. I’m going to use vouchers for shopping one week and have cut back my personal spending budget as there was still lots left from last month anyway, hopefully this means I won’t need to dip into my savings.
Hope everyone is well and didn’t suffer damage due to the storms.Mortgage End Date: Apr 36/Aiming for Aug 28/Current Aug 35

Well done on the running 👏😊 That must feel good, to get out again and not feel too flattened by it.Bad luck on the missing pay. Thank goodness you have the vouchers - like an emergency-emergency-fund 😊
