So still stuck on the sofa here, I have a wee 30 minutes each day where I zoom round and attempt to do things then return to the sofa shattered. Maybe tomorrow will be better?
Anyhow I cleaned my vacuum cleaner the other day and washed a filter which didn’t bounce back so ordered a new one which arrived today, it says change after a year🫢 it’s only been around fifteen years since I bought it😂 so I can include that on my list of things chucked out as not much is happening here. I am also burning a lovely candle that I have had for years but hoping to save the holder part for tea lights for the garden.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

Get better soon, rest and well done on the no buying ...DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Test still very positive, I do feel lots better though so will check with work tomorrow what their policy is.Not been doing much but some decluttering in the kitchen, mainly lots of food DS had bought and hardly used. In the future I am just going to use his stuff if it’s something I would eat, also finished off one of those pod boxes, I don’t buy them anymore although I would be tempted again by the iced cappuccino in the summer if we have one.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

Ummmm …. I know you are not getting sick pay but …. this is just when a lot of people succumb to long covid because they start to push through before being properly recovered. Please consider waiting another day or two to at least be negative for the same of your long term health? Once you are in the flow of a working day you might find it hard to stop and rest if you need to.skint_spice said:Test still very positive, I do feel lots better though so will check with work tomorrow what their policy is.KKAs at 17.04.26:
