Solicitor questions

Yes, both the solicitors have them. That's a main part of the job they're doing, they're checking what it is they're actually buying. So, like I said, you'll need to talk to your solicitors in order to give meaningful answers. Otherwise all you can currently say is "I don't know, because I've no idea what my title deeds say".Cheillie2020 said:Who actually holds these papers? Are they obtainable by anyone? I’m guessing out solicitor has them some how?And the other solicitor (that we used to purchase this house back In 2014) has them too?2 -
Usually when i send out such enquiries I attach the transfer and pinpoint the page where the client is supposed to be looking (because, 9 times out of 10 they haven't the faintest idea and most never even bother to read the paperwork we send on a purchaseCheillie2020 said:Who actually holds these papers? Your solicitors will have this document as they will have obtained a copy to send to your buyer's solicitors as part of the contract pack... Just email them and say there wasn't any transfer attached, could they please send it and advise where you should be looking to be able to answer the question
