Barclays Bike insurance - any experience?

Has anybody used Barclays bike insurance and, if so, are there any catches as it looks exceptionally good value, especially as it seems you can take it out as a standalone policy (i.e. don't need to have home insurance with them) and it also includes Third Party Liability (which a lot of home insurance bike add ons don't). For 2 ebikes worth £1500 each it's about £20 for the year which is considerably (£100 plus) less than the other stand alone insurers like Bikmo, hence why I'm slightly wary. The policy docs, conditions and exclusions seem to read ok to me

That said ebikes can be a bit of a grey area. The personal liability section comes with an exclusion for liabilities relating to the use of motor vehicles designed to stop your home insurance policy overlapping with your car insurance policy. Sometimes that exclusion is written so as to include ebikes, and sometimes it isn't. So you would need to read it carefully and make sure they don't fall through the gap between pushbike and motorbikes.0
