A shocking Hello thread!

Hi Everyone,
Been lurking and learning for around a year now and have learned massively on the subject of investments and planning towards retirement. Not to say my knowledge is now massive, but I feel vaguely confident to now participate and hopefully contribute to discussions!
Brief history; male 44, wife 45, 1 dog, no kids, around 70% equity in the house. Took VR from blue ship employer in 2019 after 20 years with a decent package which allowed me to clear all debts, take a three month break and top up an ISA.
I'll be posting a couple of questions in the near future and try to keep them to separate threads for clarity. But as a starter for ten, see image below. Imagine my horror yesterday seeing this investment dropped 99%! Seems a decimal point had been moved two places left. Not sure how that would happen accidentally? Morning Star showed the same. Thankfully now both corrected.
