Morning all! Sun is shining, warming up the living room nicely. Time for another cup of tea then online learning again. I'll be able to do courses myself by the time I'm finished. I did want to retrain to do something different, maybe this will fit the bill. After todays sessions I'm intending to pamper myself a bit, soak my feet and cut my toenails whch have evolved into talons. I had a good sleep last night a full seven and a half hours, couldn't believe it when I looked at the time this morning. It makes such a difference. Anyway, yesterday I reboiled the marmalade, lost a jar in the vapours but it's now a good consistency. The kitchen is tidy and clean, the food processor bits were chucked in the magic cupboard so they are all sparkly clean now. I'll do some flatbreads to have with the hummus I made yesterday [note to anyone reading, don't use olive oil unless it's the golden one, extra virgin is too strong] and I have one more portion of cassoulet for tonight that I'll have with some kale. And that will be my day done.Glad his op went well snoozer. Dumpling, what monna said. I've already told OH I want to be bruned and scattered, no headstone or anything left lying around and I want him to play Fire by the crazy word of Arthur Brown when I'm rolling along to the fire...Ruby, that sounds a bit rubbish, let us know if it is, I'm taking that now..nanny, you're probably decluttering but hope it's going well for you. Scarlet, big up to your daughter for being a brave soldier! Mehefin, well done on your potential new sight! Bet it'll make a huge difference. I'm off now to sort a cup of tea out before learning, so stay sane out there, be excellent to each other and to yourselves...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8

Hello everyone,Mixed weather here, sunny one minute, rain the next. I have a sm delivery later, Ss, couldn't get a T one this week, just hope it's dry when I have to transfer the shopping into my bags on the front lawn
My DB1s birthday today - will ring him later.Just had a charity bag through the door so I'll see if I can fill it.Funnily enough I'd turfed a few things out of my wardrobe yesterday to get rid of. DS2 left a few things he didnt want when he moved into his own house, still in his wardrobe so I'll have a look in there too.I ordered a new raised dog feeder - 2 bowls on a stand, much better digestion for big tall dogs. The other one had gradually rusted and gone wonky & finally collapsed ,spilling water all over the floor in the process. The new bowls are massive, even for her, and she won't eat from it! They sound a bit tinny too and make a noise when they get pressed. I had to ring DH at work to fetch the holding rings from the old one that he'd taken to put in the skip - luckily it hadn't been swapped. Gave them a good clean and put them on the stand, luckily they fit and old bowls put back! Neurotic dog happy again
Yesterdays chicken & chorizo traybake went down well, bit left I'll eat at lunchtime.Tonight we'll have something from the sm delivery but can't remember what I ordered : )Better go and do something useful, have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Window cleaner turned up today - that threw us as he has never been here on a Friday before.
Mr F got 3 boxes of 12 free range eggs for 10p yesterday - Daughter came round to collect some.
We chose new glasses the other day - lenses - £65 and budget frames for £4 - I got 2 pairs of close work glasses as I wouldn't want to be without a pair.
Finished an order for another rainbow poncho.
Having a go at crochet wrist warmers now. I bought a daylight lamp years ago - so handy when working with dark colour yarns.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
