Returned Apple watch to Very

Can anyone offer me some advice please.....
I purchased an apple watch 16th Dec 2020 for my sons 18th, from Very. He first switched it on and registered it with Apple on 4th Jan. 21st Jan the watch failed to charge and become extremely hot on the charger. I returned the watch to Very.
The short version of events is that they then refunded me and confirmed that my watch had been lost. I brought a new watch for my son once the refund was issued.
We then received the watch in the post asking me to remove Find My iPhone from it. They recharged my account for the watch. We removed Find My iPhone and returned the watch again. They then sent me an email saying that the return had been processed and the refund was once again given to my account. Seven days later i get another email saying they were now repairing the watch and they again recharged my account. Ive told them that i brought another watch after they confirmed the first refund. I don't want the original watch back.
So what do I do now? Where do I stand with regards to them refunding me twice and then charging me again when I thought the issue was resolved?
They have had this watch now for almost 10 weeks

If they have refunded you, then the matter is closed. They have no right to charge you again.

Did you use a Very credit account, or a credit or debit card?

It was brought on a Very credit account on a buy now pay in 6 months interest free. When they recharged my account they didn't do it on buy now pay later so they are now charging me interest.
