I am in Spain and a personalised digital certificate is used for things such as tax submissions and access to health services.

I have installed my certificate on an old Moto G6 phone and my laptop by simply clicking a link on an email which then instals it on the device. When I need to use it and digital certiciate is prompted the devise automatically shows a list of available digital certificates. Using this I can log in easily to health services.

I have tried to do the same on my iPhone 11. It appeared to install and told me where it was saved - but the message disappeared before I could read it. When I try to use it the health app says no digital certificate found but when I try to download the certificate it says already downloaded (you can download on multiple devices but only once on each device).

Please help, I can't see where it can be stored!

Thanks.

Stored in downloads bit of the iPhone files app?

    Looks like a blue folder.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings

Check you can see the certificate and the toggle switch is on.

    Nope, there's nothing in there.

There is nothing in there, just the Trust Store Version ans Trust Asset Version. there is no toggle switch?

only thing I could suggest which I fond online is the following

On mobile devices with IOS you can access the list of installed electronic certificates in "Settings", "General", "Profiles".If the "Profiles" option does not appear, there is no certificate installed.

Thanks. There is no Profiles option so it's not installed - but it has downloaded so it's lost in the ether. There is a workaround but it's much slower to log in and access info - including hopefully my vaccination certificate!
