Anyone had problems with pepper money

So basically had a few bad years of poor credit, last 2 years no missed payments, have 2 ccjs that are satisfied one that drops off this year and the other one in 2 years time! My mortgage advisor has went to pepper but they are saying we had a ccj registered last year or so their computer is saying, apparently they only use equifax, I have been to equifax for my report which is all correct and paid £10 to get a report from the registry of orders and fines all correct so my question is what are they seeing? Has anyone else had similar issues? Sorry for long winded post! 😭

Have you asked your mortgage broker to go back to them with a copy of your credit file from equifax and look again, being more specific if they still see something?

That's not a long-winded post for this forum! But you may want to use paragraphs in future, makes it easier to read and increases chances of replies.

Thanks for replying, first time on a forum, yes I’ve just sent it over to mortgage advisor to email to them, just at a loss I have all the facts but they adamant there’s a fault because the computer says so, fingers crossed they come back with some good news.

Could be a few reasons. They might not just use equifax despite what you were told. They might have made a mistake. Or what they are seeing might not actually be a CCJ.

My mortgage broker said just equifax, but I use totally money and clearscore which all say just the 2 satisfied ccjs.

It’s hard because they won’t tell you what it is or who it’s with because of data protection apparently, and it would be on the public register if there was a ccj, my mortgage advisor basically said go back to equifax to Check and get a notice of correction hit there’s nothing to correct.

Try a different lender, see if you have the same issue.

Yeh will do, I’ll see what they come back with after they have seen the credit report I have sent them and if no joy I’ll try elsewhere. Thanks
