Hi I logged into Experian where I've held a free account for several years and it previously showed all my credit accounts (mortgage, credit cards, loans). Now however when i log in it states

"Your total borrowing. Our records do not show any active credit accounts for you.".

I'm on 999, great, but I fear this may well be down to no credit accounts.

Anyone any idea?

Raise a dispute with them.  You're correct that the high score is due to the high risk of no apparent history and can be ignored. It can also be ignored when your accounts are re-populated.

Ignore the score (aka a marketing gimmick that only you see - lenders do not ever see this) and focus on the data. In this case there is none when there should be, so you need to dispute this with Experian.

Is your address information on your Experian account up to date? You say this is an account you have had for a while so if you have moved and not updated your address in your Experian account this could be why your credit accounts are not showing.

    Probably a split file?

What's that, and how can it happen?

Thanks this might be it, my address wasn't up to date. although I'm surprised that would cause it as they still have my three previous addresses. Anyway i've changed it to see if that works and will check again in two weeks to a month's time, I guess.
