Work out what you can do yourself, ie; any friends or family that have a hidden talent for taking really good photographs that could do the piccies on the day? Ask if anybody would want to sort the wedding cake out as a wedding present, anybody have a nice enough car that you could do up with flowers and ribbon as the wedding car?
Like suki1964, we had a fantastic day and night and did it all for under £1000.
Sit down, have a talk with your OH, work out a budget, write down everything for the day and then set yourselves a limit that you can afford for each thing and work it from there.
Good luck.If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.
ROCK IT DON'T STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's worth the prize is always worth the fight0
