HI all, Thanks for all your help.

I received a DQ from court. I know i have to send a copy to the court and the Claiment VCS, should I send a copy to Elms Legal

the solicitor acting for VCS.

If VCS haven't yet taken back control , email to Elms and to the CCBCAQ email address only

If Elms have been sacked by VCS , email to VCS plus the CCBC as well

If that is a strange answer , it's because as lot of people recently have been told that Elms were no longer dealing with VCS claims , VCS took back control in house

I have just looked at claim form from the county court, and the address for sending documents is Elms Legal address.

I will research to see if Elms have been sacked.

If I can't find anything would it be OK to send copies to VCS & Elms?

Yes , if in doubt do both , just in case , because you may have a letter in the post where Elms state that they are no longer dealing with it. So all 3 should cover all eventualities

Hi All, Just an update, I sent copies of the DQ to the court, Elms Legal and VCS, received confirmation of receipt from all 3, although VCS template reply says they don't accept documents by email. Then a few days later I received a letter from VCS, with a Notice of a Change of Legal Representative, and the letter states Elms Legal are no longer acting on their behalf, they made me an offer which I could pay within 14 days, if not they will bring the letter to the courts attention when it comes to the matter of costs.

Make them an offer of a peppercorn and bring that to the court's attention.

Hi all, I am getting my witness statement together so that I'm ready when the court case comes.

Any help will be welcome Thank You.

When producing documents for the witness statement do you have to copy the whole document or just the part you need.

For instance I need to use the Southend Airport Byelaws which has 10 pages but there is only one page that applies to my case.. The same applies to the copy of VCS contract with the landowner.
