Computerquote Insurance / A-Plan Insurance

Good morning all,
Does anyone have any experience with either Computerquote insurance or A-Plan insurance?
I recently bought home and contents insurance with Computerquote via a well known comparison site, but received a letter within a month of this to say they had been bought by A-Plan insurance and that my insurance plan would be moved over to A-Plan. Computerquote's website has subsequently disappeared and I can find little to no information about this merger and I'm unable to retrieve my documents from their online portal.
All just seems a bit weird, so wanted to check if anyone else has dealt with them before calling them
