Ticketmaster refund if festival organiser goes bust?

Hi all, can't seem to find a solid answer to this, but apologies if it's been covered.

I bought 3 tickets in 2019 for a festival in July 2020 - total of £750. Festival was postponed to 2021. It's now just been postponed to 2022

Ticketmaster have offered a refund (minus booking fee) or I can go to the festival in 2022

I'm happy to go in 2022 but my worry is that after 2 years of no festivals, the organiser will go bust.

Question is, if the organiser goes bust, do ticketmaster have to refund me? Or am I a creditor of the festival organiser?

You'll ultimately be a creditor of the Festival. Ticketmaster will not retain the monies. The money will ultimately be used to fund the build up to the event in 2022. Whether there's anything in the pot who knows.

Short answer is, look after number one. Take the refund.
