Hi all I'm new here so please be gentle
OK so my partner has received a parking ticket via the post from horizon for parking on Asda/Iceland car park in Huddersfield west Yorkshire for over staying for 38 mins. Now fair enough that she was over her time but I'm curious as to what can be done
She parked on there to drop some paperwork into Huddersfield uni and then returned to use Iceland (which she actually works for over at the Halifax branch) she purchased a few things and then left this was on the 26th of March, the letter was received today Tuesday 6th April 2021
The letter states that if payment is made within 14 days of the date of issue (April 1st 2021) it will be reduced to £42 from £70
Is there anything that can be done at all I've read a few posts on here but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the sharpest tool in the box at understanding all the jargon etc so any help would be much appreciated but if you could please make it as simple as possible to understand I'd be grateful
Kind regards John

But the NEWBIES thread is back on page one where you clicked on 'NEW THREAD'. Go back and read it. This is simple to win by not saying who was driving.
If you can't work out how, see my signature, I tell you where to click at the top of the page (but not on a phone, get off the phone if that's the issue that stopped you seeig the top Announcement threads you were meant to read first).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top of this/any page where it says:
