OK complicated situation. I am divorced and live with my 22yr old (in between jobs)and 16yr old sons. I have a son at University too.
I work part time and get UC. I pay a mortgage on my 4 bed house.
My ex husband has recently been made redundant and is spiralling into debt trying to live on jsa and his uc housing doesn't cover the rent on his 2 bed flat so he's 3 months in arrears.
Can he move into my spare room as a lodger? We have the same surname but are NOT a couple!
