Learner insurance before 17th birthday

Hi all
My daughter turns 17 the day before my car insurance is due (lucky coincidence), and I would like to insure her on the car as a learner
Unfortunately, when I try and enter the details on Compare the Market, it won't allow me to move past the point of entering her birthdate and license date because they are in the future.
Does anyone know if it's possible to do this on CtM, or on any comparison site, or will I have to wait until the day my insurance is due in order to get quotes?
Thanks
Ben

Maybe Ive missed soemthing but why not get quotes for a learner that is a littles older so she would be valid,  and then buy the actual insurance on her birthday.

That might be the route I have to go down, I'm just well aware (from MSE) that prices are cheaper a few weeks before the policy is due, and I'd rather not wait until the literal last minute

I would add a few months on, find the one that looks best, then phone them now, most likely what you want can be done with some just not online.
I wasnt aware insurance was cheaper if bought in advance. Interesting. I suppose they think you are a distressed purchaser or at least, have more time to look around if its a while away?
p.s. dont forget DIrect Line, I'm a long tiem customer,  occasionally do a comparison, and they always come out there and thereabouts plus the service Ive had from them when Ive needed them has been good, so Ive not swapped. No axe to grind, no reference numbers, just a happy customer.

And you have to take that optimum time to buy with a pinch of salt. It may work for some and not others.

I have bought mine with 2 or 3 weeks ahead and bought it on the last day.  Buying on the last day gives them
little chance to quote high and reduce later.

The day before renewal this year and it saved me £100 from the renewal price. I had comparison prices saved
so knew it could be purchased before midnight and get the fixed price. My insurer had one chance to price
    match or lose my custom.
